Young Ladies Grand Institute (YLGI) is an organization of Catholic women dedicated to the Christian principles of charity and sisterly love. YLGI was founded in San Francisco, on September 5, 1887, by three young women inspired to help an ill friend. We offer friendship, support, leadership training and the opportunity to make a difference to those in need. Through YLGI’s participation in charitable projects, you will have the opportunity to promote the work of the Church while working hand in hand with other Catholic women. We attend regular meetings, we plan fundraising events, we provide sisterly love with prayer and support.
